We both loved this true story of a remarkable herd of rogue elephants that are reintroduced to an area of Zululand, South Africa, after more than a century by conservationist Lawrence Anthony. It is a story of hope, patience, adventure and understanding. It is so much more than just feel-good animal rescue story, the story also includes insight on the challenges of running a wildlife reserve and the ever-present danger of poachers. We were gripped by the first chapter and by the end, were left wanting more. A fantastic read and highly recommended.
