Ernst van Jaarsveld is an expert on South African flora and one of the most prolific plant collectors in the history of Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, he has recently joined the Babylonstoren garden team. After 42 years at Kirstenbosch, Ernst’s first big project on the Farm is the revamp of their indigenous garden, where he is already hard at work creating small-scale representations of the Hantam, Robertson Karoo, Simonsberg and Southern Cape.
